Server features
- Due to security reasons it is now denied overwriting an existing Apple Company Push Certificate by a another one with a different topic.
- The actions in the single device actions list have been grouped.
- The Dashboard now shows a value “user licenses” which shows the number of calculated / invoiced licenses.
- The naming for groups synchronized from LDAP / Azure AD has been improved.
- A new action has been added to the operations’ menu which allows to change the ownership of Device Owner devices from private to corporate.
- An option to export reports as Excel-Files has been implemented.
Minor adaptions
- The option for an alternative MDM client download location has been removed.
- All labels related to the Knox Workspace have been adapted.
- Clicking the MDM version number in the bottom left corner opens a pop-up with further details.
- Feedback recipient set by super admin on global tenant will not get overwritten by the feedback recipients set by tenant admins.
- The organization information in the Apple settings have been improved. Only organization name is now mandatory.
- The exported CSV reports have been improved.
- The synchronization with the MDM client download has been adapted to support the different 7P applications (7P Apps, 7P MDM, 7P Locate and 7P VPN).
Fixes
Other issues
- The order of conditions and actions in the operations menu again can be changed via drag and drop.
- The uninstall application action list for Device Owner devices showed the MDM client, although an uninstallation is not possible.
- The option to select tenants was visible in the schedule report menu on tenant level.
- The option for SMS enrolment was not available for new added devices.
- If the “is in the device list” condition was used, the selected data was cached and shown in further operations where this condition was selected.
- The status filter in “MDM connection status” report did not provide a multi-select option.
- MDM instance status messages were not supported in the new user interface.
- When selecting a platform in the dashboard menu the administrator was forwarded to the wrong report.
- Installed certificates were not shown in the device inventory.
- A synchronization issue for Azure AD has been fixed.
- An issue in the group selection in reports’ views has been fixed.
- The number of maximum failed attempts for the system login was not used correctly.
- In some specific cases the entered Android Enterprise values got lost.
- An issue has been fixed, where the auto-lock policy could not be applied correctly to devices.
- Minor fixes and adaptations (layout, performance and localization) have also been performed.
